Antigone Vesci
​Founder
PT, DPT, ATC, SCS, FAAOMPT, CMTPT
Antigone is a Sports Certified Specialist, currently working as the Director of Performance Therapy at The Edge in Glenview, IL. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University, as well as, a tactical athlete specialist at O2X, where she speaks nationally to firefighters, law enforcement, and other government and military agencies on injury risk reduction. Antigone received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2012, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Boston University College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College. She then completed the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2017. Antigone is also a certified health care provider for World Rugby. Antigone is dedicated to providing evidence-based and patient-centered care to all age groups and demographics, but finds working with tactical athletes, the aging athlete, and patients in chronic pain the most professionally rewarding. She also works closely with local dentists to treat tempromandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD). Outside of the clinic, Antigone enjoys painting, singing and playing music, and cooking with her husband Brian. They have a daughter, Meli.
Ashley Duer
Clinic Manager
PT, DPT, SCS, FAAOMPT
Ashley is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Kinesiology and a double minor in Psychology and Medical Sciences. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2022. She spent her undergraduate career working with the university’s football program, but has a special interest in working with athletes both young and adult. Ashley has completed a sports residency making her a Sport Certified Specialist as well as completed Northwestern’s Fellowship program. She is also fully certified in dry needling. She is a retired volleyball player, but enjoy spending her free time outside hiking with her dog, exploring new countries, and finding any way possible to spend more time with family and friends.
Rachel Bergen
PT, DPT, OCS
Rachel is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Sciences. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed an orthopedic residency at Northwestern university, passed her orthopedic board examination, making her an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Rachel is currently completing her Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through Northwestern University. At Creighton, she had the opportunity to work with Creighton sports teams for pre- and post-season return-to-sport training. She has experience presenting at national conferences, which highlights her dedication to evidence-based care. Rachel enjoys working with athletes of all ages and is passionate about helping her patients reach their highest potential. In her free time, you’ll find her baking, at the beach, exercising, learning Spanish, playing cards, or spending time with her family and friends.
Jack Kobylka
PT, DPT, OCS
Jack is a graduate of Willamette University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Afterwards, he traveled back up to the Pacific Northwest to complete his Orthopedic Residency at the University of Washington, and has passed his board certification exam. During all those years of school, he became passionate about the human body and what it could accomplish, and even more its ability to handle adversity. He believes in evidence based care, and enjoys working with all people, working to get them back to their passions and beyond. He has been a runner and golfer since he was 5 years old, and in his free time, enjoys making new recipes, working on any jigsaw puzzle, hiking, and waiting for the 49ers to win a Super Bowl.
Christine graduated from Washington University with her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997 and completed her Doctorate in PT in 2005, also from Washington University. She became a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics in 2011 and then furthered her education with a Post Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2013. She completed the University of Illinois Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 2015, and was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists later that year. She is an associate faculty instructor at Northwestern University’s Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences DPT program, and a Faculty Instructor and Mentor in the Northwestern University Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic Physical Therapy Practice, Research, and Education. When she is not busy working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son Eddie and adorable dog Salty.
Trent Beyer
PT, DPT
Trent is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who combines experience as a military veteran, paramedic, coach, and educator to help people move better and perform at their highest level. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from North Central College and is currently completing advanced residency training in Sports Physical Therapy. Before entering physical therapy, Trent served as a Long Range Surveillance Team Leader in the United States Army and later worked as a paramedic throughout the Chicagoland area. Trent's clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, return to sport, injury prevention, and performance optimization. He enjoys helping athletes and active individuals return to the activities they love while building long term health through strength, confidence, and durability. Outside the clinic, Trent enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, reading, and various outdoors activities.
Yousef Raouf
PT, DPT
Yousef is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and competed on the Men's Swimming and Diving Team. He went on to complete his Master's in Clinical Exercise Physiology, also at the University of Indianapolis, before receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. He then completed his Orthopedic Residency at Northwestern University and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Yousef brings a deep curiosity for the spine to his practice, specializing in low back and neck pain and working closely with patients managing chronic pain through evidence-based care, always with the goal of helping each person reach their highest potential. Outside the clinic, Yousef is happiest near the water or in the weight room. A Florida native at heart, he’s never far from the beach or a good workout and enjoys adventuring with his dog Carter.
